This Austrian wine is a friendly burst of sunshine in a glass—exuberant red fruit with a peppery kick.
Rét, which translates from Hungarian to ‘field’ or ‘grassland’, is part of Maria and Alexander Koppitsch’s ‘Fun Wine’ collection. It’s made from an 80:20 blend of Zweigelt and St. Laurent, with the grapes growing in sandy soils overlooking Neusiedl Lake.
