Women In Wine / Julie Gonet-Medeville

Post image

Julie Gonet-Médeville carries on her family’s legacy in French winemaking traditions, which dates back to the 16th century and her family’s highly esteemed Château Gilette in Bordeaux.

When Julie’s two sisters decided to pursue careers outside of wine, she earned degrees in law, economics, and management in order to run her family’s centuries-long wine empire.

Not only has she continued her family’s legacy, however—she’s expanded it! She’s founded new wine houses together with her husband Xavier in Champagne. She’s also the woman behind the Premier Cru Champagne at Une Femme Wines.
