Blueberry, cherry, blackberry and chocolate.
From a warmer growing season, this is a big wine loaded with DuBrul cherry, blackberry, red currant, cinnamon, pepper, roasted coffee beans, chocolate, and fine tannins. As with all Côte Bonneville reds, this ageworthy Bordeaux blend will benefit from decanting while young.
Côte Bonneville began in 2001 when owner Hugh and Kathy’s youngest child headed to college. Empty nest syndrome hit and they found a new passion: winemaking.
