This new Winemaker’s proposal combines juicy and flavorsome Cabernet Sauvignon with Petit Syrah, Carmenere and Malbec and is aged 8 months in oak. On the nose, roasted, balsamic aromas suggest tomato and a pinch of herbal green in addition to berry and cassis notes. Good acidity creates a lively, dancing mouthfeel. Flavors of herbal plum and light cherry with a fresh finish.
Vintner Roberto Echeverría Rubio worked for eight years as an economist in the World Bank and lived in DC before realizing that he wanted to preserve his ancestors’ winemaking tradition and undertook the task of revitalizing his family’s winery.
