A creamy mélange of apples, pears, and brioche.
The Bohigas family has been farming this land since 1290. The land and these grapes are basically in their DNA. The Xarel-lo grape is the majority of the wine and its antioxidant properties keep the wines fresh even while they spend extended time on the lees (which gives the wine its body and creaminess).
The winery’s current owner, Jordi Casanovas Bohigas, works to create 100% estate-grown wine with his daughter, Maria Casanovas, the winemaker.
