Earth and spice, with black fruits.
Deep, young colour with purple tints. It has a very expressive nose of black fruits, blackberry jam associated with toasted and spicy notes. On the palate, the attack is unctuous, and fleshy leading through to a smooth and remarkably well balanced wine. The finish displays notes of butter and toast with an outstanding freshness. Undoubtedly a wine of pleasure elaborated with grapes picked at optimum maturity.
Domaine de Pellehaut only started bottling their own wines in 1990, before that they simply sold their grapes to other producers.
