Warm, honey oak aromas on the nose give way to a mouthful of vanilla, hints of baking spices, and a balanced petey finish. This one of a kind scotch is a “triple malt” which combines three single malts from three of Speyside’s best distilleries.
The term ‘monkey shoulder’ dates back to a condition that maltmen sometimes picked up while working long shifts, turning the barley by hand. It usually caused one’s arm to hang down a bit like a monkey’s, so they nicknamed it ‘monkey shoulder’.
