From parents with passions for wine to summer internships Angela Michelits knew she wanted to be apart of the wine community. She paused her formal studies to take an official winery apprenticeship, returning to her original studies after it ended.

Angela met her husband Werner Michelits during her time at university and together they have continued to transform Werner’s family estate with Angela at the helm of all winemaking and vinification processes.

Focusing on modernizing traditional wine growing and winemaking techniques Angela has helped to make the family estate a world-renowned producer of high quality organic wines by limiting human intervention and creating conditions for nature to do its best work.
