If you’re looking for a unique and historic venue for your wedding, gala or performance, look no further than Roulette in downtown Brooklyn. This 6,000 square foot theater was built in 1927 and has been beautifully renovated, keeping all the art deco flare intact. The stage is perfect for any type of performance, while the ballroom lends elegance for cocktail receptions and sit down dinners (or dance parties!).
Why do we love Roulette? For starters, it’s a non-profit that supports experimental art, so it’s helping keep the Brooklyn art scene alive and well. Roulette is also super flexible. The high quality acoustics and production equipment are great for concerts on fundraisers, but they’ll also elevate any wedding band or DJ. There’s a small kitchen for caterer prep and renting the space also includes the mezzanine, lobby, dressing rooms and Steinway D Grand piano.
Pro tip: The rental fee for Roulette also covers a number of helpful staff members, including an events associate, house manager, production associate and audio-visual technician. This can add up to big savings when it comes to lighting, sound and management for your event!
