Strength in Solidarity

Every year at Tipsy, we celebrate Pride Month by supporting the Ali Forney Center, an organization that’s been committed to providing life-saving support to homeless LGBTQ+ youths since 2002. The Ali Forney Center never closes its doors, running the nation’s first 24-hour drop-in program for homeless LGBTQ+ youth, offering a safe, warm, supportive environment in addition to transitional housing and job readiness training.

In a time where attacks against the LGBTQIA+ community are on the rise, particularly in the form of anti-trans legislation and acts of physical violence, now more than ever is the time to show support. This year’s NYC Pride theme, “Strength in Solidarity,” reminds us of the strength that comes from every individual’s uniqueness and our ability to wield tremendous power when united with others.

Looking to show your support for the Ali Forney Center? Here are three ways you can get involved:

  1. Donate
  2. Fulfill items on their Amazon Wish List
  3. Sign up to volunteer

Happy Pride!

XOXO, Team Tipsy
