A Cuba Libre ups the ante on a typical Rum & Coke by adding a very important citrus note: the juice from a whole lime. We made a batch during one of our summer cocktail demos and the balance between deep, rich rum, bright citrus and sweet, bubbly Coca Cola is addictive and perfect for warm weather. Here’s the recipe:

Cuba Libre

• 2 oz Kraken Black Spiced Caribbean Rum ($24)
• Juice of one whole lime
• 12 oz Coca Cola
• Ice

Add the lime juice and rum into a shaker with ice and shake to combine. Pour into a glass over ice and add Coca Cola to taste.
