Lately, we’ve been experimenting with turning bourbon into a refreshing summer drink and cocktail-know-it-alls Dipsology have lent us a hand along the way. Last week we mixed up their version of a Whiskey Smash. It’s a super easy cocktail that can be adapted to include any seasonal fresh fruit you like. We’re thinking some muddled peaches might be delicious…
Whiskey Smash
- 2 oz Four Roses Bourbon Yellow Label ($23)
- 3/4 oz lemon juice
- 3/4 oz simple syrup
- Handful mint
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
Muddle ingredients in a shaker, shake and strain into a rocks glass over ice. Add seasonal fresh fruit if desired.
