Customers crunched & drank the day away.

When local restaurant Dekalb Fine Foods opened its doors in January, we knew we had to find a way to taste their farm to table fare. Besides having regular in house music and an inspiring menu, they’re community focused as well: They’ve been building gardens at nearby public schools and try to get their ingredients as locally as possible. Last Saturday, we invited their team to the shop and boy, did they deliver on the delicious treat front. We enjoyed homemade ricotta crostini with spring onion jam while we sipped our citrusy yet delicate Aphros ‘Ten’ Loureiro 2012 ($17). Ras, Dekalb’s guitarist, played us tunes all afternoon and it was such tipsy fun.
