The Triebaumers are considered one of the top red producers in Austria, but make no mistake, this Sauvignon Blanc is no shrinking violet. Thanks to meticulous organic farming and carbon suppressive techniques, the fruit (and resulting wines) is alive and expressive!. The parcel where the SB is planted is called Vogelsang (Birdsong) and is in both a natural amphitheater and in close proximity to a lake- concentrating the sun and warmth for max ripeness. This Sauvignon Blanc has a lot going on in the best way possible! Pineapple, passion fruit, salted lime, caraway seeds, and smoky slate- all with a super clean finish. A serious wine that won’t break the bank and begs for a beautiful piece of fish, or a nice firm cheese with some tooth.
